EAD to H1B Change of Status

Hi,

I'm in a predicament with the status I should fill on my EAD/AP renewal application. During my recent visit back into US, I used AP to enter the country and subsequently I've changed to a different job using my EAD. Now my current employer has also initiated my H1B change of status and that petition is also approved. With this scenario I have below questions:

1. Can I still use Parolee status on my EAD/AP renewal application?

2. If yes, what happens to my approved H1B petition? Is it considered not used/abandoned? Can I later enter the country using this H1B?

3. If no, would my AOS considered abandoned, as I switched to H1B with a new employer?

Any guidance is very much appreciated.

If the Change of Status was approved, you should have gotten an I-797A which contains a new paper I-94 for H1b status in the corner. If so, then your current status is H1b. It doesn't affect your AOS.
