I am on H1B with I-140 Approved , Currently in USA.

Scenario:
1) - Due to COVID -19 i have been laid off from company from 31-May-2020 and company has provided written communication on the same.
2) -As per company direction i stopped working from May 2nd and since than company started generating $0 salary slip till June 13th ( In $0 salary slip company is paying Medical part only).

Question :

When will my 60 days grace period start and End?
Will that start from 2ed May( When i stopped working)   OR 1 JUNE( When company provide termination letter) OR 14th JUNE.( When my company stopped generating $0 salary slip)

In current situation if i am not able to travel back to India within two months , what will be my option to stay until i get return ticket.

The employer is required to pay you the full salary for as long as you are employed there.

If the company does not pay you since May 2  you have been laid off on May 2.

The company also has to report that date to USCIS. If they report May 31 they have to pay you properly until May 31.

If you can't find a job and do a H1 transfer in the 60 days, you should file a H4 or B2 to stay in the country till you can find a return flight.
