Maximum how long can i wait to transfer to Employer B?

I would like to file in advance and wait for my time to transfer to new employer?

It will depend on how long your employer is willing to hold the job for you after approval. If it a couple of weeks, you should be good. But if you are planing for months then better to consult an attorney.

If 2 to 3 weeks I feel you are good but if it is more than talk with your employer/lawyer. It depends on how long employer is going to hold on position and ok with you not joining.
