While we wait for the process to finish, I am (I believe) becoming eligible for citizenship, as I got my GC through marriage. Do I need to wait for my 10 years GC to be approved before applying for citizenship, or can these two processes happen simultaneously? Thank you 🙂 Quote Link to comment
newacct Posted June 16, 2020 Report Share Posted June 16, 2020 No, you do not have to wait. You can file N-400 while your I-751 is still pending, and in fact, filing N-400 can help speed up adjudication of your I-751. Quote Link to comment
