gopalakrishnach Posted June 15, 2020 Report Posted June 15, 2020 f i travel to US in July 1st week, will i have any issue in the port of entry -- if they call your employer they will your alst date was June 26 and you will get into troubles. Best action, use your friends help to settle things in USA. Be in USA if you can by June 24 and hope CBP will not contact your employer and you can land in USA. Quote
zoomzipper Posted June 15, 2020 Report Posted June 15, 2020 There is no way that flights are going to resume even in July from India to US for non immigrants. Quote
savemeplz Posted June 15, 2020 Report Posted June 15, 2020 I know one of my friends friend travelled from Delhi to NY recently, check it out if there are any such flights. If you have a valid I-94 and visa you should be ok to travel later but there is a small risk associated, so why to take chances find out the options to travel asap. GOOD LUCK! Quote
User099 Posted June 16, 2020 Report Posted June 16, 2020 You can't travel with the old I797 and visa after June 26th. You don't get the 60 day grace period if you are not in US. You need to find a new job and come back, or use your friends to cleanout the apartment. Quote
JoeF Posted June 16, 2020 Report Posted June 16, 2020 You can absolutely not travel to the US on the H1 visa after June 26. Doing so would be immigration fraud and could result in you being banned permanently. Find a new job, and when the H1 for the new job is approved you can travel to the US. Quote
