kumar19810101
Hi team, thanks in advance. Sorry its L1 query. Posted it by mistake here. My L1B visa get stamped on 27th July 2018 and so 3 yrs expiry date is 25th July 2021. But I entered in USA for the first time on 11th May 2019. So Till how long my L1B visa will be valid. July 2021 or May 2022. Reason behind confusion is that when I came for the first time on 11th May 2019, My I-94 was showing expiry date 09th May 2022. In December I went to India for 15 days and now new I-94 is showing date 05th July 2021. this 5th July confused me a lot as even ig its July it should be 25th July + 15 days. Seems like immigration office wrote that by mistake. Edited March 9, 2020 by kumar19810101 wrong forum Quote Link to comment

But I read it somewhere that I-94 having the date which immigration officer put on your passport. Its not an automated or calculated one. the point is there may be a chance if by mistake officer puts a wrong date. Like in my case it either should be 25th July 2021 (according to Visa stamping) or 9th May 2022 (According to my first immigration in US) or 10th August 2021 ( stamping expiring + 15days ) but how 5th July. only 5th July on my Visa is my DoB which is 5th July. So it seemed to be a manual mistake where rather than the right date he picked this date. Please suggest. Also is there any way where i-94 date can be challenged. Quote Link to comment

You can reach out the local CBP office to see if they will treat this as a mistake and correct it. If not, you will either have to travel or file a new petition to get a new i94.
