DKG7 Posted March 8, 2020 Report Share Posted March 8, 2020 Sharing my experience with H1B extension process. 1. Filed H1 Extension with Regular processing in Aug 2019. 2. Updated the processing to Premium after 1 month. 3. Got RFE in 2 weeks. Don't know the details as per the employer's policy, they'll not disclose. 4. Filed response to RFE and got NOID. 5. Asked me to show the proofs that I'm going to office. (I was working remote and my LCA has Home, Office and Company addresses. Work Credentials and asked me to provide that my education is relevant to the present job. (Bachelors in Mechanical) 6. Provided all the information and got the approval in Feb 2020 for the remaining full duration of my H1B. It was really a frustrating situation as my I94 got expired and employers were not ready to file transfer. Hope this gives confidence and hope to someone who are in the same situation.
