J Singh
I have been charged with Drinking Alcohol in National Park, Simple Assault and Disorderly behavior, when I was with my GF at WA national park. After Negotiations they suggesting to plead guilty for disorderly behavior (with $200 fine only) and other charges will be dismissed. Does Pleading guilty for disorderly behavior impact immigration status (visa extension, perm GC etc) ? is it a good deal to go ahead with it ? Quote Link to comment
giri26
Run it past a good immigration lawyer. No one on the forum can advice something like this. When you are having troubles with the law on a non immigrant visa it is always good to have an immigration attorney work with your criminal attorney to make sure the right call is made. User099
Listen to the advice you got above and hopefully you learnt your lesson on how to behave when in a NATIONAL PARK. Quote Link to comment
