H1B RFE on proposed technical position is sophisticated/complex/specialized enough to warrant at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a technical field

Respected Sir, 

I've been issued a H1B RFE for extension stating the below.

-USCIS is questioning whether the proposed technical position is sophisticated/complex/specialized enough to warrant at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a technical field.
 

Please help me with the below:

1. How to handle the above efficiently for the role "Software Engineer"?

2. I've been promoted to Software Engineer to next level during 6 months prior but the role applied for extension was old (S/w) not the new role. Should we amend the same along with the RFE or reply to RFE, then amend later.

You need to write a detailed list of your roles and responsibilities and your day to day activities at your workplace. Try to see as detail as possible with no acronyms. Hopefully that should satisfy USCIS that this is complex enough role for a speciality occupation.
