h1immigrant
Hello experts, My h1b extension was denied in July 2019 and I had to return to India as my I94 had already expired. My employer re-applied and I got an approval. I am still employed by the US employer and getting paid in USD while am working remote. Now when I fill my DS-160 in place where it asks current employer, I have put US address and USD salary would that be an issue? Or should I put an Indian branch address for the same company and convert USD to INR. Please advise. Edited February 21, 2020 by h1immigrant Quote Link to comment
cyberlord
How can you put US address when you are not in US? Salary in USD shouldn't be a problem I guess. Quote Link to comment
User099
Are you still under US payroll? You might have to get this reviewed by an attorney. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
You are out of USA so your addresses are India address. I feel salary is OK just convert to USD is also good. Quote Link to comment
