Gerry Posted February 6, 2020 Report Share Posted February 6, 2020 (edited) I have been petitioned and has been issued a green card already however but to process of license application from California to Illinois this process has taken a long time. From my arrival in August 2019 till now Feb 2020 license for Illinois is still pending and I already have my license to practice in California. Unfortunately my husband who migrated with me is diabetic and is requiring medications which my finances are running out. I have a job offer to stay in California.. my question is would it be safe for me to just stay in California and not report in Illinois due to financial and health of my husband.
