Eb1C I140 and EAD cuncurrent filing

Hi, I have applied I140 under EB1 Multi National Manager category... Do I need to wait for priority date to become current for EAD application or I can apply it in parallel with I140.. Iam hearing contradicting suggestions from friends, hence posting this question for clarity..

You will have to wait for the date to be current.
