H1 H4 Dropbox options

Hi I am on H1B and my wife is on H4.

We both had out visas until 29th Nov 2019. We got out extensions approved until 2022 nov.

We are planning to travel to India. I know that i am eligible for dropbox.

Since my wife and I would be in India at the same time and i would be dropping my documents and my wife would be going for visa interview in person, she would go with my i797 and not the visa, do you think it gets complicated?

What would happen in case if my wife is also eligible for dropbox and both of us drop off our documents at the same time?

Nothing to worry. You can check if your wife is eligible for drop box. I think your spouse may need to carry only a copy of your I-797.

However, accompanying your spouse for the in-person visa interview and not choosing drop box is also an option if either of them is ineligible for the drop box.

She is ok to go for stamping with you approval notice. You both can drop of the documents at the same time.

H4 needs to carry H1B approval notice copy. No complications..

They might call you to in-person interview even you are dropbox eligible. This is normal now a days...
