Is this true? or I can still go to Canada? or bahamas? If I get 221G then how many days can I stay in Canada? I have Canada visiting visa right now. Quote Link to comment
User099
You can go to Canada, but there are risks of getting struck in a 3rd country when you get 221G so just be prepared. I think you can stay for 6 months on a visitor visa in Canada if I am not wrong. Quote Link to comment
cyberlord
I'm not aware of any change in rule that specifies we need to get the stamping done in our home country. You will be considered as a TCN (Third country national). Many US consulates in different countries allow TCN's to attend Visa interview. You can check the rules of US consulates in specific country and decide accordingly as to what they allow. I suppose, if you get a 221G, you may or may not have to submit your passport. If you submit your passport, the administrative processing (AP) could take up to 180 days. If you have to submit your passport for AP and want to travel outside Canada, you can request for withdrawal of passport. Quote Link to comment
