Converting L1A [i140 already approved] to H1B

I have a question about converting L1A to H1B. I did not had H1b visa before and L1A is my first visa to US. I stood in USA for 4 years and have 3 years left to maxout. I have my I140 already approved while in L1A and have 3 more years left for max out. Since GC process is getting delayed and before it reach max out, as a precaution I have applied for H1B through my company this year 2019.

My question would be, having already an I140 approved through L1A, once I get H1B approval, will I have to again go through I140 application process of perm, labour and other procedures? Or Can I continue with same I140 already approved to stay beyond by 7th year using the newly approved H1b ( hoping H1B will be approved)
