H4 validity is till July 2020 & H1 validity is untill 2021.I was working from 2018 and got my H1 stamped when I went to India. However, I was laid off now and I have to travel to India for family issues. Since I cannot comeback on H1, can I get my previous h4 extension stamped in India as I want to return to US in a month. My husband's company did not apply for his H1 extension yet. Quote Link to comment

My husband's company did not apply for his H1 extension yet. There is no use of your H-4 extension. You just need to take your spouse current H-1 I-797 and get H- 4 visa stamped based on that.
