maheshpnjg9
I recently got a job and in the process of transferring the H1B to the new company. My position title is "IT XYZ MANAGER / XYZ DEVELOPER". Do we have to file 2 LCA's for the same position (one with title "IT XYZ MANAGER" and the other with "XYZ DEVELOPER")?. I'm confused here. Can you shed some light on this scenario?. Edited January 30, 2020 by maheshpnjg9 Quote Link to comment
JoeF
There is only one LCA for a job. The LCA would have to list both titles. Quote Link to comment
User099
Why are you worried about this? Your attorney should be able to take care of it and they will file the LCA. Job title can be anything as per the company, SOC code under which they are filing is important. The SOC code will depend on what are your roles and responsibilities. Quote Link to comment

maheshpnjg9
Thanks for the replies. Attorney mentioned that they will have to file 2 LCA's with job title. Basically listing the percentage of work done for each title. They said it is the right way to do it. I will keep you posted about the outcome. Quote Link to comment
maheshpnjg9
Got an RFE. I don't have the details yet. I'm guessing it will be for specialty occupation or employer-related as it is a small company. My Profile: Bachelor's in Commerce. Master of computer applications with 15 years experience. Employer requirement says bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field with 5+ years exp. Can you please shed some light here?. Edited March 6, 2020 by maheshpnjg9 Quote Link to comment
User099
Wait for the RFE, don't jump to conclusions. If the documentation was good enough to tie your job to the subjects in MCA then you will be good. Quote Link to comment
