DineshKasu
Hi, I have H1B petition and valid Stamping until March 16 2020 with Employer A, Some months back they merged with Employer B and no Amendment or no petition is filed or needed for that, I have H1B extension petition from March 17 2020 to September 2022 with Employer B, Now I am in new Project and Amendment is in progress from December 16 2019 with Employer B, I am planning to attend stamping on February 10 2020 with Employer B, Will this cause an issue for Stamping or for Port of Entry? These pending or merging would cause any issue in Stamping? I must attend Interview as I have it in Mexico, Please let me know, Thank you in advance. Quote Link to comment

It looks you want to attend visa interview for Employer B for March 17 2020 to September 2022 approval but your current amendment H1B approval will take precedence and I feel they might try to look into that and see its result. My personal advice not legal wait till amendment is processed. Quote Link to comment

It's better to wait till your amendment is approved. Pending amendment is always risky, because if they ask current client location and if you don't have current docs then you might face issues. Better to upgrade to premium and get a decision before stamping. Edited January 29, 2020 by shekar11# Quote Link to comment
