OPTIMISTIC GUY
Hi All, I am currently working for company A and have my H1 visa approved through them. I have given my interview with company B and am hopeful of getting an offer. In the event of me being terminated from my company(A), is my H1-B visa still valid for a H1 transfer and if so how long?. User099
You will have 60 days to file a transfer petition after the last day of employment with employer A. Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
Once let go by A, you have 60 days to find a new H1 employer as rightly said above. You obviously are using the word visa instead of petition. As long as B files an H1 petition for you before the existing I94 expires or during the 60 day grace period, you can start with B on getting the receipt. A has to revoke your H1 petition by law, once you leave. That does not affect your petition filed by B. Quote Link to comment
