imad604 Posted January 10, 2020 Report Share Posted January 10, 2020 I have read conflicting information about obtaining an H4 visa for Canadian spouses of H1B visa holders and wanted to get an idea of the actual process. My fiance is a valid H1B visa holder (Pakistani national) and I plan on moving to the US after we get married. I wanted to know if I would need to go through the consulate interview process to obtain my H4? Or if it can be obtained at a POE (assuming I have all the proper documentation)? Quote Link to comment

It can be obtained at POE. Consult your spouse employer's attorney also to be 100% sure. Quote Link to comment
