bharathkasu12 Posted January 9, 2020 Report Share Posted January 9, 2020 Hi, I have a situation and Can someone please help me, I have my current visa until March 10, I have extension I797 from March 11 to 2022, Now I am workin with a different Client where I have Receipt for my Amendment (Amendment is in process), Can I go for Stamping with my approved extension I797 and with a Receipt for Amendment (Amendment is in process)? Is there any issue at the Port of Entry? Please help me as I need to travel, Thank you in advance. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach Posted January 10, 2020 Report Share Posted January 10, 2020 From my understand you got extension approved till 2022 and now you do not work for that client. So you got new client and did amendment and now it is under processing. My advice is to wait till amendment is processed and go to visa interview using that amendment. Just imagine if you go with extension and USCI try to contact old client what they will say. Quote Link to comment
