At the same time, I applied to the change of my H4 accordingly. The H1 transfer is now approved, however, we are at the moment awaiting the H4 transfer and approval. Currently, my H4 is valid under Company A (old company). In such a situation, is it possible to apply for the H4 EAD with Company B, while the H4’s company transfer to Company B is in the process? User099 Posted January 12, 2020 Report Share Posted January 12, 2020 H4 is not transferred or tied to the companies your spouse works for. Its tied to your spouse's H1. You can apply for H4 EAD while H4 petition is pending. Quote Link to comment
