ChakradharCharya
Hi, My H1B got approved in premium processing on October 29th, 2019. I am on approved I-140. My wife's H4 was also applied at the same time. I did not apply H4 EAD. It is just H4. It is now 2 months and the H4 status still says "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". Here are my questions. Please help. 1) Can my wife travel to INDIA while H4 petition is under processing? 2) If we have to travel to INDIA while H4 is under processing, is there any way I can get my wife's H4 stamped? I heard that I can fill DS-160 for my wife based on my current H1B approval but I am not sure if this is true. I need your expertise opinion and if anyone gone through our scenario please reply your experience. Any response will greatly help us plan our next trip to INDIA. Thank you very much!
