SingaravelanR Posted December 26, 2019 Report Share Posted December 26, 2019 I got selected in H1B lottery on April 2019. We haven't got any update from USCIS till November, 2019. Hence my attorney decided to file outside of normal processing service request with USCIS. While responding to our service request, USCIS mentioned my case was rejected due to incorrect fee on August 2, 2019 itself. They claim my company paid the fee of 750$, but the expected fee was 1500$. Since my employer is having less than 25 employees, 750$ is the correct fee. If we decide to file Motion to reconsider, we already past the 30 days timeline. We haven't received any rejection notice before that, So we missed the deadline to file MTR. Even now USCIS portal is showing my case status as " Case was Received ". Is there anything we can do to get my H1 this year ? Quote Link to comment
