dgr
Hi, I was offered with a base salary of $120000 under Level 2 wages by an Indian consulting company for charlotte,NC location. Due to some contract issues I have to change the project, and my new project is in San Antonio, Texas. My employer informed me that my salary will be reduced by 20% as to meet USCIS LCA wages. They didn't mention anything on the offer letter about salary change with location change. I always thought they would make necessary changes to meet the contract they offered. I would like to know if there are any options to keep my salary as is. Can the employer raise my wage level or job title? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Your only option is to find a better employer. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Please avoid personal details and please post in appropriate forum. I feel your employer is doing in this legal limits. When you change places they do LCA amendments and H1B amendments and adjust pay accordingly... Quote Link to comment
User099
Nothing is stopping them from paying you more than the prevailing wage for your new location. Quote Link to comment
