premanand
Hi All, My i94 expired on Nov 19th, 2019. My amendment was filed in Aug 2018 which just denied last week :(. In meanwhile my extension for the same location/client was filed on September 2019. I understand I can stay and work for the client until I get the result of my extension. but based on the previous topics it’s pretty clear the extenstion will be denied as to its based on the amendment which got denied. However, my question here is, What if I move to a different client (not employer), same employer but the different client in a different location, will that require a new extension or just amendment is enough? if another extension is needed, I can buy some time I understand h1b transfer is the logical option, but will there any more denials based on earlier applications? User099
1. Since your I94 is expired, it will be an extension and most likely be under consular processing. 2. Generally new applications will be separate, but again it will also depend on what was the reason for denial. Is it something employer related or relating to you? Quote Link to comment
