H1-B Visa Stamping

Recommended Posts

I am currently on H1-B visa and need to go for stamping in India. While filling up DS-160 I came across this question.

Provide your employment information for the last five years that you were employed, if applicable

Were you previously employed?

I am with the current company from last 6 years. If I say yes I was employed. Then it asks from when to when. I don't see any option to say till date.

What should be the to date. Please advise.

thanks a lot.

I have another question.

For social media like Facebook, Twitter etc. I was asked to put the identifier. I have put my full name and submitted it. But it's not actually the identifier but you can still find me. I do see 1 another person also with the same name. Do I need to withdraw the DS-160 form and resubmit it or it's OK to keep it like that.

Please advise

thanks a lot.

I have 2 more questions.

After submitting my DS-160 form I did realise few things.
Please let me know if the below items are ok else Since I have an option to withdraw the DS-160 form and resubmit it I can create a new one and resubmit.

1)

For social media like Facebook, Twitter, instagram etc. I was asked to put the identifier but I have put my display name and submitted DS-160.
It's not actually the identifier but you can still find me as it's a display name. I do see another person also with the same name.

2)

I was asked if I have any additional email addresses.

I have 2-3 emails created way back when but don't use them for sending emails to anyone. I don't use it for myself either. I always use only 1 email for everything  and I have put only this email in DS-160.

In this case do I need to provide older ones which I had used way back when?

Do I need to consider work email as additional email? if yes I will have to resubmit DS-160.

Please advise if I need to resubmit DS-160.
