skquest Posted December 10, 2019 Report Share Posted December 10, 2019 Hi, I had H1B and my wife's H4/H4EAD visa approved until 2022. Due to a change in work location, i applied for H1B amendment for myself and i just got my approval but the validity is until 2020 end (1 yr). Does this impact my wife's H4EAD validity? her current H4EAD card shows validity until 2022. Will that be backdated to 2020? Also, next year when i am applying for my extension do i need to apply for H4/H4EAD renewal along with my extension? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
