sarayu07
Employer filed H1B petition in 2017 when I was in India,it was denied and employer went for MTR in 2018 March . I came to USA as a H4(No EAD) dependent in November 2018 after my marriage. Now my H1B petition is approved in November 2019. Do I need my H1B to be stamped immediately or it can wait until I travel outside USA? Series of Events: 1. H1B Petition filed in April 2017. 2. H1B Petition was denied in December 2017. 3. MTR was filed on March 2018. 4. Traveled to USA as dependent on H4(No EAD) in November 2018. 5. H1B approved in November 2019. I appreciate your valuable suggestions. Quote Link to comment
User099
My Guess you did not get an I94 with your approval notice. If yes, then you can wait till you travel outside to get H1 stamping done and come back on H1. Quote Link to comment
