tikona2023 Posted November 26, 2019 Report Share Posted November 26, 2019 Hi, I had originally received H1B I-797B approval notice, I visited India for H1B visa stamping (previously of F1) and after I landed in India my employer received the updated copy of I-797A from USCIS (in response to the COS denial inquiry to USCIS). So my employer sent me the photocopy of the new approval notice (i-797A) . I got my H1b visa stamped without any hassles. Now when I am flying back to USA first time on H1B at the Port of entry USA will the photocopy of my latest approval I-797A work (I have the original of the older version of approval notice I-797B with me) ?
