H1B Amendment approved, but project cancelled.

Hi,

I was working for project A with my employer with H1B (and I94) valid till May 2021. Then, employer planned to move me to Project B at different client location and filed an amendment. Amendment got approved in one month with petition valid till March 2020 only and received new I 94 also for same shorter duration. But around same time, due to budget constraints, client decided to scrap/cancel project B.  Can I go back to project A again since my employer has not cancelled my H1B for project A  without filing new amendment or extension?/

Can employer withdraw the project B amendment and make a way to go back to project A again ?

I guess you can go to project A but I may be wrong.

Project B can we withdrawn.
