H1B Transfer, i797A Approval Notice and H4 Stamping

Hi All,

I have below questions :

1. My H1B petition got approved on 7th Nov. How much time USCIS takes to send the i797A approval notice to attorney in case of premium processing?

2. Can I file H1B transfer using just receipt number in case my employer delays in giving the i797A approval Notice?

3. Can I file H4 transfer along with H1B transfer if H4 extension from the current employer is still pending?

4. Can H4 (Spouse) go to India and get the visa stamped on the basis of H1B approval?

5. In point 4, Will H4 be eligible for dropbox if the last visa has been expired in less than 12 months?

Apologies for a lot of questions. I would really appreciate any kind of help here.

1. Give yourself 10 to 15 working days.

2. Good to have approval notice while sending to USCIS. You give that to new employer and ask them to work on documentation

3. You can file. I am not sure what type it is

4.Since H1B is approved H4 can go to India and get visa stamped

5.I do not know. Even if H4 is eligible for dropbox be  prepared for in-person interview..
