H1 reinstatement/recapture question

I'm currently on H1 with validity till end of 2020, I 140 was approved few years ago.

If I quit my job now and after few months  if I found an employer who is willing to sponsor H1, can I reinstate my H1 without being subject to the cap? 

What would happen to these unused 12 months of visa? 

What would happen if I found a job after 12 months have passed by?

Since I140 is approved I feel you will out of lottery. I maybe wrong..

Yes, on the basis of approved I140 you can do it.

Nothing.

You will have to get a new visa to travel back.
