Need to know if L1 stay will counted against H1B max out date

Hi,

I want to know if my stay during L1B will count against my current H1B even though I stayed outside U.S for two years and had filed a fresh cap subject H1B petition.

Following are my details - 

I left U.S on 01/31/2015 and stayed in India till 01/13/2017 ( almost 2 years). My H1B visa was issued in Oct 2016.

I want to know if the two years on L1B will be counted against the current H1B duration. Will my max out date be November 2020 ?

When was the H1 filed? That's the important thing.

If it was filed more than one year after you left the US then the clock did reset. If it is was filed before the 1-year mark abroad the clock k did not reset.
