Need help regarding H1B max out date

Hi,

Please see my duration of stays and advise if my L1 stays will be counted in the current H1 duration

1. L1B stay from June-12-2012 to Aug 23 2013 - 14 months

2. L1B stay from Jan 2014 to Jan 2015 - 12 months

Period of stay in India from Jan 2015 to Jan 2017 ( almost 2 years) / L1B visa expired in June 2015

H1B stay from Jan 12 2017 to Nov 13 2019 - almost 3 years

Please let me know if the two years stay in L1B visa will be counted in the current H1B visa for calculating the max out date.

Once you stay out side US for 1 year or more, your clock will reset again for 6 years. 

I think you should be good for next 3 year

When was the H1 filed?

The clock only resets if the H1 is filed after the person has been abroad for at least a year. When you entered with the H1 is completely irrelevant. The date of filing is the only thing that matters.
