Transfer->Approved->Reopened->Approved->Backdated

Hi,
I transferred my h1b petition to other company it was approved till end of next year, after few months they reopened the case but didn't give us any update after that. After few months we sent inquiry about reopen status then they approved the h1b with 6 months past date. Can you please help what my status its going to be? is am eligible to work? what are the next scenarios ? My employer initiated the h1b extension process the same day when they received the approval notice with backdated dates.

Below dates are not exact dates..but kind of similar dates.

Transfer approved - 10/1/2018-08/30/2020
Case reopened - 1/21/2019
Sent inquiry - 7/25/2019
H1b approval notice - 10/2/2018-05/2/2019
