L1H1Confusion
I am on L1-A. However, my employer does not file through EB-1. I am looking to move to H1 so that the cap of 7 years can be circumvented if I have valid I-140. Can I have more than one petition from different consultants filed for next year's lottery? JoeF
Why consulting companies? There are lots of real companies out there. Edited October 31, 2019 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
You can have multiple H1B petitions at same time in lottery. Quote Link to comment
rohit369
Request your employer only to move you from L1 to H1...this is the safest bet since the paperwork becomes simpler. Quote Link to comment

That may change when they switch over to electronic filing. It is unethical, anyway. Edited November 1, 2019 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
