221G Yellow Slip - Can I travel back on F1

I was F1 and My H1b got approved with Change of status denied. Did attend the Visa interview in mumbai  on 10/24/2019 and Vo returned my passport along with a 221g yellow slip. Based ion the processing times it does seem like it will be a long wait . I am a contractor and My client is eager to know when I will be returning . Can I travel on F1 (about to expire in december 2019) until my 221g is processed.

All the existing visas will be revoked. You will have to wait until your 221g is cleared

As usual post only when having issues.

I guess at port of entry you might get into trouble. More over I feel on Oct 1st 2019 you changed to H1B so your F1 is gone.
