H1 & H4 Stamping - DS160 / Interview

Recommended Posts

Hello Guys,

I am on H1B and my Wife H4 +H4EAD, I am going to India in Jan 2020 and have H1/H4 visa stamping at consulate.

my wife was doing doing IT job till June 2019 but here EAD was expired so renewed in and approved in Oct 2019 - Basically Lost her job in June 2019.

I filled the DS160 for both of US ( H1/H4), in H4 DS160 in Sept- I have put all history for her job (including till June 2019).

Confirmed Visa  Interview in Jan 2020.  Now My wife get offer from one IT company, SO we are worried that how to answer in Visa interview like in DS 160 we have put "HomeMaker" and if she join the new IT job then what to answer?

Anyone faced this kind of issue ? Highly Appreciate any help on this.

Just fill in a new DS-160 form and make sure to get the new DS-160 updated during the finger printing appointment.
