Going for Visa stamping while having valid I797

Hi,

My current I797 expires in Feb'20, today I got approval for my H1B extension which till Feb'23. I am planning to visit India in November end. The questions I have is

1. When I am preparing Ds160 for dropbox do I need to mention the latest expiry date which 2023 or current I 797 expiration date which Feb'20.

2. Will I get stamping till 2023.

1. You can use you Feb'23 approval notice for stamping.

2. You should get it till 2023.

1. You need to use latest I-797 details.

2. Yes.

Just a note make sure your passport is valid beyond Feb 2023 or else you might end up with reduced I-94 time period.
