H1B Employer Change and Payroll

I have one quick question. I am currently on H1B visa and working for an employer A. I recently got my H1B transferred to employer B. My visa got approved today. I have 1 week paid vacation left with employer A. I do not intend to take vacation at this time. I will have to forgo the vacation if not taken. I plan to use this vacation as part of my 1 week notice period. 

 

My question is - Can I use this 1 week vacation and join employer B? 

 

To be more clear, I am planning to stop working for Employer A on October 7th and use vacation from October 7th to October 14th. I plan to join employer B on October 7th since I am not doing anything with the vacation. Is this possible? Or would it be counted as staying on payroll for 2 employers for a single week.

Why to take risk. Start from Oct 14 for emp B. Just relax and have some fun for 1 week. Avoid this for future cases.. staying on payroll for 2 employers for a single week
