gopi1230 Posted October 1, 2019 Report Share Posted October 1, 2019 I submitted FOIA request 2 months ago requesting for my I-140 document and i got reply stating they did not find such documents. Luckily i have NVC case number , so i called NVC center and when i gave my case number they gave me i-140 receipt number Then , I opened another FOIA request using new information, but it was closed , saying the request is duplicated Looks like i cannot open another request Currently I have NVC case number and I-140 receipt number for my I-140 I also have an email received from NVC that they received my petition from USCIS so, can i apply H4 EAD using my i-140 receipt number? User099 Posted October 1, 2019 Report Share Posted October 1, 2019 Yes, you can apply for H4 EAD. If all goes well you will get it approved without an RFE asking for the I140 approval notice. One suggestion is to use the case status approval screenshot as an alternative. Quote Link to comment
