I just wanted to know if i qualify for Eb2 with the following Job Requirement. I recently graduated with Masters degree from US and also have BS from US. Job Title: Statistician/Biostatistician REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or closely-related field. Strong applied statistics background, with working knowledge of common statistical methods, including an understanding of their theoretical background. Strong SAS programming skills, including the ability to effectively use macros and create data displays (i.e. graphs and tables). Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. t75 Posted May 26, 2011 Report Share Posted May 26, 2011 It certainly appears to qualify, but the attorney for the company would be in the best position to relate past experiences with your prospective employer for similar positions. A big question would also be if it would pass the labor certification. If there were other qualified applicants for the position, they might apply again during the new required posting and PERM could not go forward. The requirements for H1B hiring are far less restrictive than for GC filing. No one can make any assurances. You just have to take a chance and hope for the best. Link to comment
