L1-B to H1-B tansfer with different employers

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on L1B for company A. I recently got my H1B approved for company B under counselor processing.

My question is when should I terminate employment with Company A? :

1. Before getting H1B stamp or

2. After getting H1B stamp

For option 1. Before getting the H1B stamp, What are the chances that H1-B stamp is rejected?

For option 2. After getting H1B stamp, Is it legal to continue working for Company A (remotely outside of US) after H1-B stamp is given and L1B stamp is canceled?

new h1b is valid after oct 1st. you can go for stamping during last week of september. i believe you can use your existing l1b even after h1b is stamped.
