H1B amendment in same MSA but different clients.

I work for Employer A. My current contract got over with client X and joined with New Client Y. Both the clients are in just 1-mile distance( Same MSA and same ZIP code) and same job duties. Do I need to file an amendment for this client change or LCA and commutable distance process is enough? Can someone help me to understand the procedure?

Now a days its better to file for amendment. My employer encouraged me to do so,

Can someone help me to understand the procedure? - Your employer must guide you and they need to do it. You need to provide documents and please do not ask for document list. Your employer will provide all that info to you.
