Paystub with date after CPT completion date

Hi,

I was working part time on CPT at a start up. Before the last date of CPT end date, I left the work. There were certain dues left to be paid by my employer. After a month, they sent remaining salary. The check has a period start date, which is after CPT completion date. I am wondering if the employer has documented all correctly. I have not en-cashed that check till date.

Please share any advise or knowledge you have.
