Reentry into US after H1B visa stamping

My H1B visa on passport has expired.

I haven’t travelled out of country since 2015.

I have approved I-797A for H1B extension valid from start date: 10/1/2016 until 9/30/2019.

I have another approved I-797A for H1B extension valid from start date: 10/1/2019 until 9/30/2022 with the same employer.

If I go out of country next month (August 2019) and get visa stamping in India with the latest approved I-797A which is valid until 9/30/2022, can I come back to US immediately (August 2019) or do I need to wait till late September (that is 10 days before the start date of 10/1/2019)? Please let me know.

If it is a matter of a day, why don't you just delay your arrival?

I would ask this question to company attorney, who filed your application or directly to visa officer who will issue you visa.

I am going on a business trip, and then need to come back to US immediately after visa renewal in India.

Its not just a day that i can delay, its almost a month from August end until September end.

That is the reason why i need to know if i will be able to come back immediately.
