AMill
Hello. My H1B application through company A was approved this year. Unfortunately, because of personal circumstances, I have to resign and return home as soon as possible. I was planning on leaving mid-September. 1. Would it be more prudent to wait till October or would this not make a difference to my ability to potentially apply for an H1B Transfer if I decide to come back to work for Company A a few years down the line? I know my change of status would be abandoned: does this affect H1B transfers? 2. If it is possible for me to retain this future ability, would I have to return home, get a stamp at my local consulate, come back to the US, work for a bit, and then quit? And presumably do all of this after October? Just trying to figure out the best solution for myself at this point. Thanks all! Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
In October your H1B starts so after that transfer will come to picture. I may be wrong.. Edited July 23, 2019 by gopalakrishnach Quote Link to comment
