Applying L1A when waiting for PERM Approval

Hello,

A very unique scenario, not sure if this question was encountered and answered. I was not able to find information hence creating a new topic.

My PERM was filed after I exhausted 5 years 11 months of my 6 years of H1. I exited the USA after 5 years 11 months. When I am waiting for my PERM and I140 to get approved, am I eligible for applying L1A, as to use 1 year and 1 month left for the total term of 7 years? (As H1 time will be considered here)

If yes, and if my L1A is approved, when I am staying in the USA on L1A, can I apply for H1 extension once my I140 is approved?
