Sanket Raut
Hello, I completed my MS in the US and working for the same employer from last 2 and half years. I completed my bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Mumbai University and a master's in telecommunications engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm currently working on cloud networks and cloud network automation role. During my final year of engineering, I developed an interest in the telecommunication network field so I have done my milestone projects on telecommunication networks. I had only 3-4 courses in my undergrad and milestone project which were related to telecommunication networks. My H1-B application got picked up but received RFE on my Bachelor's degree. I received RFE stating how my bachelor's degree is helping me in my current job in IT. Does anyone have a similar situation before? what are the topics do I need to cover in the RFE response? what is the success rate of approval after submitting the response? Thanks, Sanket Link to comment
xTDx
USCIS has asked a valid question. You would have to work with your employer and their attorneys to prepare paperwork to respond to the RFE. Only your employer, you and the attorneys know about the position , your skills, job details and how your BS in electronics and MS in telecommunications helped in your career. If your employers are any competent, they would know how to deal with this. Link to comment
